Seeing what other people eat in a day fascinates me. So here it goes!
9:30 am : Breakfast
My Breakfast is usually South Indian-Idli/Dosa/Pongal/Kitchdi/Uthappam etc. Sometimes I eat Chappathi too. On days when I don’t feel like eating tiffin, I finish my food with sweet corn, milk, cookies or fruits like bananas or apples.
1 pm : Lunch
This is my favourite time of the day to eat meals. My lunch is mostly South Indian, (rarely, North Indian), and it consists of Sambar, Rasam, Curd, curry, pickle and Mango (during summers in India).
4pm : Light snacks
I drink tea, and munch on some light stuff like cookies, fruits, or salads. Very rarely do I eat sweets and oily items when my mom makes them. My favourite Indian sweets are Gulab Jamun, Rasagulla, Payasam,Ladoos, Kaju Katlis and other milk sweets. On days when I have mood swings I don’t eat at all.
8:30 pm : Dinner
I usually don’t show much interest in dinner, and I eat light foods. But whatever I eat, I make sure I finish my dinner with a cup of curd rice and pickle. It’s perhaps my go-to meal and I ensure I don’t miss it. I generally prefer rotis or dosas, the latter more often, because Dosas are awesome !!!
